Jeju day tours in short
A Jeju tour from Jeju City usually follows one area. The east day trip runs from 09:00 to 17:30 and takes about 8.5 hours. The southwest trip is also about 8.5 hours. Both include a vehicle, an English-speaking guide and admissions. Lunch is not included.
Prices below are examples for 2026. A promotional price can replace the regular one for a season, and a listing does not show free seats on your date.

East and southwest compared
Two example day trips from Jeju City in 2026.
| Tour | Length | Stops | Included | Adult price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| East Full-Day Tour | About 8.5 hours, 09:00 to 17:30 | Manjanggul, Seongsan, haenyeo performance, Seongeup, Hueree | English guide, vehicle, admissions; no lunch | KRW 89,000 (KRW 64,000 in promotion) |
| SouthWest and Hallasan | About 8.5 hours | 1100 Altitude Wetland, Jusangjeolli, Cheonjeyeon and more | Admissions; no lunch | KRW 89,000 (KRW 64,000 in promotion) |
Children usually pay the same price and toddlers go free. Confirm the age cut-off when you book. For most first-time visitors without a car, the east trip is the better first day, because it brings Seongsan Ilchulbong, Manjanggul and the haenyeo performance together.
What each trip involves
Stops and limits.
The east trip
Manjanggul Cave reopened in May 2026, and only 1 km of the tunnel is open. At Seongsan Ilchulbong the haenyeo performance is held at Umutgae beach and is included with the Seongsan ticket, without an extra show fee. Times change with the season and the weather.
Seongsan Ilchulbong โThe southwest trip
"Hallasan" in the trip name means a visit to the 1100 Altitude Wetland, not a hike to Baengnokdam. Stops can be swapped because of weather. Jusangjeolli and Cheonjeyeon are on the route.
Jeju waterfalls โClosed days
Seongsan Ilchulbong is closed on the first Monday of each month, and Manjanggul on the first Wednesday. If your tour date falls on one of them, ask what replaces the stop.
Guided or by yourself
A guided trip saves you the driving and the parking. Going by yourself gives you freedom for the Hallasan trails or Udo, which these trips do not cover. See car rental and buses.
What to check before you book
Terms differ more than prices do.
Pickup point
Choose your pickup point at least 2 days before the tour. Meeting points are fixed per product, so match them to where you stay.
Cancellation
Some tours allow free cancellation until 09:00 on the day before. Terms differ between operators, so read them before you pay.
Lunch
Lunch is not included in the trips above. Bring money or a card for a meal on the way.
Prices and promotions
The regular adult price is KRW 89,000, and an autumn promotion brings it down to KRW 64,000. Promotions end and change, so confirm the price for your date at checkout. Other operators charge different prices and include different things, so compare what is covered before you decide.
Language
Guiding on these trips is in English. If you need another language, look for it in the offer text before you book.

Jeju tours: frequently asked questions
Which Jeju tour should I choose?
It depends on your interests. The east trip suits visitors who want Seongsan Ilchulbong and Manjanggul, and the southwest trip suits those who want Jusangjeolli and Cheonjeyeon. The table compares two examples, not a ranking.
Does a tour include lunch?
Not the trips described above. Admissions, the vehicle and an English guide are included, and lunch is extra.
Can a tour take me up Hallasan?
The southwest trip with "Hallasan" in its name visits a wetland, not the summit. The summit hike needs a reservation and a full day. See the Hallasan page.
Does the tour go to Udo?
The east trip described here does not. Udo is reached by ferry from Seongsan and is easier as a separate day.
Is jeju-island.org a tour operator?
No. This is a travel guide and does not run tours. It is not the website of the Jeju provincial government, Visit Jeju or the Korea Tourism Organization.
